Abstract

In this contribution, we will first discuss our recent work on pH, temperature and H-D kinetic isotope effects (KIEs) on ORR at Au(100) electrodes. Then we will talk the results on the kinetics of dissociative O2 adsorption, OHad desorption and its impact on oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) at Pt(111) electrode in 0.1 M HClO4. Finally, We will discuss the origin of enhanced ORR activity at Au core-Pt shell nanocatalysts.
