NOVEL SULFONATED COPOLYIMIDES AS PROTON EXCHANGE MEMBRANES FOR FUEL CELLS
Last modified: 2014-10-11
Abstract
In this presentation the synthesis and properties of a series of novel sulfonated multiblock copolyimides (SPIs) with flexible hydrophobic blocks will be reported. in comparison with the random SPI membrane, the multiblock SPI membranes exhibited greatly reduced in-plane swelling ratio and significantly enhanched proton conductivity making them good candidates as proton exchange membranes for fuel cells.
