Abstract
Because of lower cost, better heat-resistant property and higher porosity, melt-blown nonwoven has been increasingly widely used in li-ion battery as separator. In this paper, melt-blown nonwoven was used as a substrate, 4%、6%、8% nano-SiO2 was add on the surface of it and PVDF was coating as adhesive. After analysis the pore structure, pore-size, porosity, water-absorption and electrochemical of the nonwoven, we found that when the mass fraction of SiO2 is 6%,the property of the separator is the best. By comparing with the conventional polyolefin membrane, the result shows, in the area of pore-size, composite nonwoven separator is bigger than polyolefin membranes, but in other areas, it's better than polyolefin membrane. The electrochemical properties of the cell assembled with the composite nonwoven separators were better than polyolefin membrane. The capacity of Li-ion battery made with the nonwoven separator was 175.7mAh/g, while the Li-ion battery made with polyolefin membrane was 138mAh/g. The discharged capacity of Li-ion battery made with the nonwoven separator was higher than polyolefin membrane when the Li-ion battery was charged and discharged at various current densities. Besides, the cycle performance of Li-ion battery made with the nonwoven separator was better than polyolefin membrane.复制去Google翻译翻译结果
